Become a Mentor

Are you interested in helping transform someone’s life?

If so, apply to the 4GIRLS Mentor Program!

Junior Mentors are high-school-aged girls who are critical to the success of the 4GIRLS two-day annual workshop.

The Junior Mentor works closely with an Adult Mentor and helps facilitate conversation and encourages the girls to fully engage with the workshop.

Junior Mentors

Adult Mentors are at least 18 years old and out of high school. Adult Mentors spend both days at the workshop overseeing the Junior Mentor.

Serving as a 4GIRLS Mentor requires a significant time commitment; however, it is very rewarding as you witness first-hand the transformation of the workshop participants.

Both Junior and Adult Mentors must attend a 3-hour training session, which is usually scheduled 1-2 weeks prior to the workshop. Training dates and locations will be posted online and selected Mentors will be contacted with training details in advance.

Adult Mentors

*All Mentors must have a current Live Scan on file with 4GIRLS, since we work with minors (children under 18 years of age) and our insurance carrier requires that all volunteers working directly with minors have a Live Scan report. Live Scan is a digitally scanned fingerprint service.

2024 4GIRLS Empowerment Workshop

On March 23rd & 24th, 4GIRLS will be hosting a fun-filled empowerment event for Long Beach Middle School girls.

Join 4GIRLS for 2 days of activities that will inspire and empower you to be your strong, authentic self.

You will interact with other middle school girls in action-packed activities, like vision journaling, self-defense, and dancing. We also include discussions on mental health, navigating social media, and body positivity. We will also have a surprise guest speaker.

The event is free and we provide snacks & lunch!

Come As You Are - Embrace Your Authentic Self - Be Strong

All 4GIRLS activities, including the annual workshop, are offered at no cost to the girls. As our organization expands and the number of girls we reach continues to grow, we need individual and corporate sponsorship to continue instilling middle school girls with confidence and self-esteem. All donations to the 4GIRLS Organization, whether financial, products, or services, are greatly appreciated.
