About Janet
Janet Bittner has been involved as a volunteer with 4GIRLS since its first workshop in 2010. In January 2018, she was selected as the first Executive Director of 4GIRLS, which is currently a volunteer position. She is excited to be following her passion within the nonprofit space.

Janet’s 28-year career in the computer industry began when she joined Ingram Micro as an associate sales representative and she worked her way up to Senior Regional Sales Manager. Her most recent position was Director of Sales at Brother International, an electronics company with global headquarters in Nagoya Japan, and North American headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ.
Over these 28 years, she has been fortunate to manage, coach and mentor all kinds of individuals, from a new hire straight from college to an individual with over 30 years of sales experience. She has a way with people and can relate to all individuals no matter what the situation or opportunity she is needed to help with. She is a people person who is passionate about whatever she is involved with.

Janet attended high school in Huntington Beach CA, and then went on to win a basketball scholarship to Idaho State University. She attended 4 years there and was sad to leave her Idaho family but was looking forward to starting her sales career in her home state of California.
When she is not traveling, you can find her spending time with her family at their family cabin in Running Springs, where she loves to go hiking, fishing and skiing with her nephews.
